Croquet Sets Required Thank you Arthur Sinclair

The kick-off meeting of the u3a Croquet Club was held at The Rose and Crown pub in Charlbury on Tuesday evening. It was well attended by both experienced and novice players, and I’m pleased to report it has generated interest from a number of new u3a members as well as offers of loaned/donated equipment, All donations will be recognised in the Cricket Pavilion which could be "in memory of".

For more information email the link for interim leader, Paul Jackson  The first event at which rules and techniques will be explained will be on Tuesday 14th April at 3pm at Charlbury Cricket Club and on a weekly basis thereafter. For the first month membership will be limited to 15 members to allow time for coaching etc., it is expected to grow to 40+ members offering the two main systems of play 3 days per week. For anyone wishing to get a head start, several short videos are available on YouTube.
