Southill was awarded a £40k grant in 2025 to undertake a feasibility study into a number of interesting issues beyond our normal operations. Watch out for a general invitation to residents to an SCE meeting on 4th March where we will share more.

Can your provide some more details? Who is giving this money? Why is Southill Community Energy needing money now as it has been in operation for some 10 years?

I am delighted to share that Southill Community Energy in Charlbury are receiving £40,000 for their project using Solar photovoltaic technology. This will make a huge difference for Charlbury, where Southill Community Energy are contributing to local low-carbon initiatives in the community.
