Quite a few years ago we used Thomas Ellis-Rees in Burford to repair and service our 275+ year old Scottish long case clock. Wasn't speedy or cheap, but excellent work and the clock still keeps perfect time.

I haven't used him myself, but Jonathan Howard who used to do antique clock repairs in Chipping Norton no longer seems to be listed.

I don't know of anyone locally but there is a clock repairer in Salisbury called Wadge who deals with all sorts of clocks .

The wire carrying one of the weights in my long case clock has snapped, depositing the weight on the floor. Can anyone recommend someone who could repair it?
