Tue 30 Dec, 14:48 Comparing movers is a very mute point, we recently moved here and used GB Liners who were excellent but the lady who moved out got a less expensive quote and regretted it. A house mover needs to be totally honest, reliable to turn up exactly on the day, able to fully respect your belongings and not damage the property that you are vacating. This all comes at a cost and the good movers will be more expensive. The upside is you will be able to vacate your old property and move into your new home without any major traumas. As regards House and Carriage, they have an excellent reputation, a neighbour used them and she was delighted so using them will be a good option. The last thing you want is a nightmare! |
