Looking forward to seeing people at our two carol services on Wednesday afternoon!

A few years back, we split the former 5.30pm service into two to cope with the huge numbers attending. We now have two services – one at 4pm and one at 6pm. Both are traditional carol services but with a slightly different tack.

4pm is the Family Carol Service. There will be a couple of carols specially for the children to sing, as well as six favourites for everyone.

6pm is a Lessons & Carols service with choir carols as well as congregational ones (five choir, five congregational).

I would hate to disappoint anyone expecting ‘Little Donkey’ at 6pm or John Rutter at 4pm, so if you have a preference for one or the other, choose accordingly. (Spoiler: we don’t actually have Little Donkey this year. Sorry.)

And of course if your favourite carol isn’t sung at the one you go to (there are so many carols…) then there’s also 11.30pm, plus Christmas morning at 10.30am, with another four carols at each. See you there.
