u3a Anyone for Croquet?

The response to the proposal to have a u3a Croquet Club at the Cricket Club has now reached 20 and this is before members of u3a Chipping Norton are even aware of the plans. I think we can expect therefore by March a 50+ membership which will be divided into 3 groups meeting on different days i.e. Beginners; Golf Croquet; and Association Rules from Monday to Friday. While we work out the detail interested members who are not already members of Chippy Area u3a will need to join at £20 per year at u3a   Chipping Norton  website. This will enable access to 25+ groups including a theatre trip by train from Charlbury to Malvern Theatre in February to see a new production of “Morse.”

Thankyou for the many responses so far, we are planning to start in March probably more than one day per week one for beginners and another for those who know the rules! It looks as though it will be the modern "Golf Croquet" with another session of Association Rules. Please register your interest by text to 07974 565 618.....  add your email...... first come first served ! We are looking for equipment donations please.

u3a is to start in March a Croquet Club at the Charlbury Cricket ground, The day(s) have yet to be decided. We need equipment donations please and someone who knows the rules??!
