High speed police chase in Crawborough

I heard the police giving chase along The Slade before entering Crawborough. It’s likely the thieves that have been operating in the area who they were trying to catch. The police have been trying to police the increase in break-ins for a while now. Good to see that the police are being proactive.

Does anyone know what was going on in Crawborough last night?  Around 12.45 a car came up Crawborough at very high speed, and was then abandoned when the driver ran off up towards the school. Two police cars followed up Crawborough at high speed with blue lights and sirens (they can’t have experienced Crawborough before).  One of the lads gave chase, the others enjoyed Crawbough by night for about half an hour.  We don’t see police here much so this was a first!
