Calling Community Volunteers!!

There is a very beautiful large plum tree on Hundley Way (see photos below) that is sadly getting too big for itself. It is dangerously leaning over a couple of gardens as well as the access path those house on The Green that back onto Hundley Way. In recent years, part of it fell down blocking the alleyway from The Green to Hundley Way.

I have spoken to the Town Council, WODC and OCC and none claim responsibility. I have also spoken Ditchley Estate who have said the same. Rob Hobill from Model Farm has kindly said he will dipose of the cuttings but can't cut it himself.

Therefore, I am looking for volunteers, preferably with a chainsaw who can help me and our neighbours prune it. There are a couple of obvious places where it can be cut but can still continue to blossom every spring and produce fruit every summer.

Get in touch if you would like to help out!
