Thu 9 Oct, 15:43 I think Charlbury library offered digital help this summer and Chipping Norton Library did the same. A friend went for a couple of hourly sessions and found it very useful. I believe the tutor was a lady from Charlbury so it might be worth contacting your library to find out if these sessions are still available. Failing that, grab an 18 year old off the streets, sit him down with a cup of tea and ask him to teach you the basics! |

Thu 9 Oct, 11:14 Help!! It seems that I am a Bear of Very Little Brain where mobile phones are concerned. I bought a new one, which I thought was basic enough even for me, but the manual provided simply covers how to get it started. The rest is supposed to be intuitive - not to me, it's not. I seem to remember that we have a blessed person who will teach how to use the wretched thing, especially where to press for 'Sod this for a game of soldiers, let's go back to where we started' when stuck in the far reaches of options I don't understand. Can anyone recommend please? |
