Hello, I'm the "good home" they went to! I certainly don't need them all, and would love the WI or the workshop to have them. Just let me know and I can drop them off.

Please do not worry Valerie.  When I enquired I was told our Charlbury Workshop could possibly take them. However, not completely sure.

Hello Helen,

Sorry - they went to a good home earlier today.   Somewhere I've got another stash that I'll look out for.

This is a lovely place to live.

I will enquire at WI tonight  - I’m sure someone will put to good use.

Valerie, might one of those be a fisherman’s jumper type of thing?

I've discovered a run of Stitchcraft magazines from 1965 - all twelve, in pretty good condition.   (Don't ask why.   I was tidying the far reaches, which is pretty rare).  I don't know whether anyone could use them - they each have several knitting patterns, some embroidery (one has transfers), and the advertisements are very entertaining should you be historically inclined.  You'd have to take the lot, I'm afraid - too fiddly to separate.   Maybe useful for a student of fashion?  social history?  if you're bust size is 36" or below you might even want to knit something.

Too useful to discard, so free to good home.
