I’ve just started listening to “12 churches“ on audible. It’s fascinating. I recommend it.  And indeed I’ve read his other two books which I’ve enjoyed.

And where's he likely to find more sinners? An obscure radio station hardly anyone ever listens to, or an obscure newspaper absolutely no-one ever buys?

As a “ neutral” it strikes me that Charlbury is exceptionally fortunate, blessed even, in the Vicar who is bringing life and fun to the parish church.How many congregations can boast of a pastor who is diligent in his duties to his flock but also reaching a much wider audience through writing and talking? Long may the Vicar flourish in our town! God bless the King.

Perhaps in the circles in which he moves, it is quite normal to be interviewed on GB News by Jacob Rees Mogg about his new book. However it is to be hoped that Fergus seeks out the religious correspondent of the Morning Star to provide some balance.
