Sunflowers at Ditchley

What a great idea for Ditchley to open up their field yesterday morning so that we could pick sunflowers. We went along early and had a lovely half hour wandering among the plants and picking big bunches of blooms. There were lots of families there and everyone was walking around with big smiles on their faces. A good chance too to find out how the sunflowers and other plants were being grown and used to feed their cattle. Thanks so much to Robert Hobill and the team from Ditchley. A fun way to raise funds for Charlbury and Enstone schools and a lovely way to start the weekend.
