Bob, I was just repeating the figure Pulhams gave me after I’d been sitting at the bus stop for 15 minutes after the bus was due.

I think it's more complicated than simply 40 minutes late. Presumably the first buses of the day in each direction start on time then, since they divert through Leafield, take perhaps 15-20 minutes longer than normal to reach the other end. Thus the bus will start its return journey 15-20 minutes late, and so arrive at its destination a further 15-20 minutes late - hence 30-40 minutes late in total, ignoring rest time between journeys. The lateness will thus accumulate until either a different bus starts to be used or there is a longer break at one of the journey ends.

This morning the X9 was in Church street at 8.35 then I saw it a few minutes later going down Dyers Hill.  I guess this was the 8.05 to Witney.

Buses are running 40 minutes late. Same timetable but factor in 40 minute delay.

Sharon - I assume so, but I gave up and went home so I can't be to sure.

Please can anyone tell me if the x9 to Witney is still picking up at normal bus stops in charlbury during the road being closed at finstock thank you
