Crazily excessive production of small but ripe hazelnuts.  A tree at the back of my house has shed them over the pavement.

Butterflies in my garden were fewer than last year, at least at the time of doing the butterfly count earlier this month -- probably because my ancient buddleia has really suffered in the drought.

It was mostly white butterflies, plus red admirals. Blue butterflies were exceptionally rare. Pleased to see some hummingbird moths, however -- not one of the species that The Butterfly Count is interested in.

What has been much common this year is dragonflies, some very large and a variety of species, not only in my back garden where there is a pond, but also in my front garden as well which is quite unusual. Also lots of bees (still), both bumble bees and honey bees. But a paucity of other insects -- although lots of spiders.

We have had bats around Hughes Close recently. I think the birds go and molt,  have noticed lack of birds recently,  saves on seed!, although I did have a flock of 15 starlings today fighting for a bath!. John H

No bats! Presumably because of lack of bugs.
Egrets down by the river. Usually see a Little Egret there, but two Egrets flying around the other night.
Box blight taking out my loved hedge after years of (quite therapeutic and zen (if you can call killing bugs Zen)) staving off the box caterpillars.
Lots of berries

Wind.

Very few swallows and house martins sadly. And no grass for the sheep.

But where are the garden birds? I've had feed and water out over the past few weeks and not even the Jackdaws have been visiting. 'Tits on my Nuts' have your say.

Crispy leaves underfoot earlier than usual.

An abundance of apples. Blackberries also early.

Thirsty insects needing water.

What are you noticing in nature the same or different from what we are used to?
