Yes on the Miele cat and dog there are two filters, the HEPA one ( which needs replacing/soaking, empty in picture) and the motor inlet filter at the back of the bag compartment (behind blue hex plastic) that everyone forgets about ( that can be washed). also look for blocks in the tube.

The Community Workshop can have a look at it as long as it's not an electrical problem.  It sounds more like the filters are clogged up and need replacing.  We're open on Tuesday mornings 9-12.30 and on Thursday afternoons 2-4.

I have a brilliant Miele cat and dog vacuum which isn't working too well - well, not really at all.  It cuts out after 5 mins max and isn't picking up very well.  Would prefer to fix this one instead of just getting another - if anyone knows someone/where I could get it fixed, I'd be really grateful - thanks - Sabina
