I moved the campers on this morning.  I think they are indeed heading for the festival.

Wild camping in England is only allowed with the permission of the landowner, except for  specific areas such as those with open access or common land.

The landowner is, I think, the Town Council, and I doubt they gave permission. So the answer would seem to be NO.

I wonder if the campers are heading for Wilderness. The access to the car parks starts at 10 am today or, if arriving by foot, at 2 pm. The first shuttle bus from the station is at 11.30 am.

Walking on the Mill field this morning there were people camping in six small tents. Is this allowed?
