Local-Interest Books

Charlbury Community Bookshop is proving to be a very popular feature of our town, raising thousands of pounds for the Corner House every year.  But because it's more-or-less unstaffed, using honesty boxes for purchases, we're not able to sell more expensive books there, nor to sell items where some or all of the purchase price is due to a particular vendor or charitable cause.

For example, before he died Jon Carpenter passed me most of his 'Wychwood Press' stock to sell for CRAG and other charities - which I've been doing through AbeBooks and occasional table-top sales.  Few of them have been available in the Community Bookshop.

Now, however, I've posted a list online of local-interest books (about Charlbury, Oxford and the Wychwood area) that I have available for sale:  you can find it here.  All prices are cheaper-than-internet (tell me if you spot any that aren't!).

Have fun browsing!  To order any, just drop me a line at john@pjohnp.me.uk or on 07555 608780, and I'll get in touch to arrange payment and delivery details.  (If you want more information about any book, enter its ISBN or other details into Abe or Amazon etc .. or just ask me!)
