Comments: 1. There is a shortage of small properties for sale in Charlbury.

2. There has been a problem for decades, for young local families who can not afford to buy a house here, even though they have jobs, children at the primary school, and, and in some cases, parents who live here.

3. There have been too many houses sold and then turned into short rent or air b&b businesses, unnecessarily.

4. There is less and less community spirit when local people have to move out of town to make way for rich 'landlords'.

Thank you for pointing this out Hannen.  I don't suppose for one moment that we have any powers to prevent change of use from housing to business letting but I will write a response because somebody - Government, business development area, Cotswold Area of Outstanding nature, District Council or County…

What they doing Hannen? Is Charlbury about to get a pole dancing club, to entertain all our guests from Notting Hill. 😂😂

I've lodged an objection to the proposed change of use.  It is public.

I encourage other Charlbury residents to do the same.
