Susie, if you could send copies to me, I'd be very grateful. Even if they aren't the ones, I'm sure they'd be useful and interesting history.

The Charlbury Street Fair Banners that are put up outside of the Corner House, at the railway station, Play Close and so on have finally reached their end of life after several years of being patched up and modified, exposure to the weather has finally done for them,

However, I am quite fond of some of the artwork, especially the backdrops based on the Street Fair scenes, with the buildings, Morris dancers, stalls, townsfolk and so on. They appear to have been based on some original artwork, perhaps a watercolour, and I was wondering if anybody knows if the originals exist in some form, whether in physical or digital form.

Otherwise, I think we will have to go with some rather more prosaic designs unless somebody wants to offer their own version of a street scene (I know their are Photoshop filters and the like which will give a painting look to photos, but I don't think it would be quite the same).
