Sat 21 Jun, 11:05 It was a free vote so all MPs had more freedom than usual. TBH, I wish that happened more often in the Commons. I’m pleased the Bill is now going to the Lords, but right now I’m happier that abortion has now been decriminalised in England and Wales, and Sean voted for that 💪🏻 |

Sat 21 Jun, 07:59 Our MP was on the House of Commons Committee that went through the legislation line by line, suggesting the amendments that should be adopted. I believe Sean's family circumstances give him a particular interest in the topic. The Committee was made up of 23 members, and in December 2024 was said to include 14 supporters, including two ministers; nine opponents and senior voices from both sides of the debate. |
