Thu 12 Jun, 13:35 Initial confusion meant that at 10.30-ish this morning the drivers of the Chippy- and Witney-bound buses had not been told that Browns Lane was closed. Both had to turn at the Co-Op, and the Chippy bus (which I was pleased to have got on already) then turned down Nine Acres omitting the Church Street stop. On my return journey the driver stopped at the Enstone Road crossroads and beckoned a group standing at the nearby bus stop to get on before heading straight along The Slade. |

Thu 12 Jun, 11:45 Road works in centre apoear to mean buses diverting. Noticed the Witney bus not turning down Enstone Rd to do its in town stops but going straight down the Slade over the Nine Acres crossroads. Was walking home so can’t vouch for where I didn’t see! |
