There was a High Court Case about InPost's acquisition of Yodel that was decided yesterday (11 June) in favour of the new owners, but with some issues left outstanding.

In May InPost contacted local stores that offered over-the-counter pickup of Yodel parcels saying that would no longer be an option. InPost has also axed its own over-the-counter pickups, and what is left is only the InPost automated lockers, as well as the few stores that offer in-store drop-offs (nearest to us Witney Hailey Express). Probably some more options will be added fairly soon. It would be nice if there were an option in Charlbury!

The InPost website shows quite a few lockers in Witney, and one can see on the InPost website which of them are full. This is a useful way in: https://inpost.co.uk/shops/uk00259543-witney-hailey-express-ox28-1hj as it shows all of the Witney sites.

The live map for Chipping Norton includes the Coop, WHSmith, as well as Sainsbury's and Costcutter.

It doesn't say that on the Yodel website. The nearest ones are Chippy, as Tommy says, or there are two in Witney. It is now more of a pain to Yodel.

Yodel was acquired by InPost in April.

Online it says that InPost has an arrangement with Royal Mail whereby InPost delivers to their lockers, but Royal Mail can then deliver to the recipient's doorstep.

Not sure if that means the parcel could be picked up at Charlbury Post Office, should the recipient be out.

I just go to Costcutter in Chippy. They take everything!

About 7–8 miles, hopefully, as John's/Londis announced today they are no longer taking Yodel parcels.

Not sure what other options remain in town apart from the PO – I think Tim at Cotswold Frames still does UPS?
