I haven't seen him for a couple of days but hope he returns as I've borrowed a scanner and am beginning to get a picture of his life from various people including a photo from a year ago when he looked much healthier. He's got nasty scars on his neck and a weepy eye.

If you can manage to take the cat to the vets they see from its microchip if it's lost, or been dumped?

Sometimes cats have illnesses that make them look thin or unkempt. Please dont feed other people’s cats as this encourages them not to return hone, and they may be on a special diet, especially if elderly/ill.

Hi Sarah. My neighbour showed m your photo of a cat. For a few years hanging around here. It was very unkempt but fairly friendly. So she put some food out & his health improved. Then he disappeared for ages, returned with abscess. The fed for a while before disappearing again. But you a a few streets away from Hughes Close puzzled xx

Black and white cat has been very vocal in the Fishers Lane/bottom of Hixet Wood area for the past week or so. I would think it's not a young cat (there are a couple of very young black and white ones around here too) and just wondering if it has a home or is a stray .... any news welcome. I have been giving it some food but think there may be a problem with his/her teeth and of course, if it has a home I'll stop feeding!  (photo currently in 'Adverts').  I haven't been able to get too close to it yet so can't check if microchipped.
