Space Story Time with Sue Palmer, 4.30pm

Charlbury Library
👍

Tue 20 May, 14:35

We still have some spaces (!) for this free event aimed at 7-12 year olds in the Library tomorrow, Wednesday 21st May, 4.30-5.30pm.  Sue is a local author and has written the May's Moon series of books.  Join her as she reads from her books, talks about the astronauts she has met and the amazing facts that she's learned from her research into space.  Sue has also got some space food, lego and model rockets with her so it should be fun!

"Beating thousands of others, thirteen-year-old Michael May, is one of ten children from around the world accepted onto the ‘Children’s Moon Program’ in Florida. If he can survive the g-force of a space-shuttle launch, overcome his secret fear of water and pass the other battery of tests, he could win a place on the next mission to the moon!"

See poster on the Events page for more details.  Booking is essential.  Please message through this website or email charlbury.library@oxfordshire.gov.uk
