Through traffic

I'd definitely say that "passing through Charlbury" now means "going along the Slade", whether to the station/Burford or towards Chippy/Banbury. There's far less North/South traffic going through the middle of Charlbury (via Park or Church St) than 10 or 25 years ago

It’s predominantly Witney to/from Banbury and the north. The traffic survey we did a couple of years back showed very clearly that the biggest flow was Fawler Road to Banbury Hill.

There’s also a fair amount of Cotswold tourist traffic now that Charlbury has been “discovered”.

Am I right in thinking more traffic is passing through Charlbury and if so, where do people think, it is travelling to and from?
