How to Delete the error of Duplicate Posts?

You can't - the mods have to. A temporary work around is to edit the duplicate and replace the whole text with a dot until they do

Clueless about how managed to make the post twice: but how does a clumsy ‘poster’ get rid of the duplicate? Not been able to find anything hunting about on the Site page, poking nearly every place on my tablet screen with fingertip to undo the error.

And am baffled by how did so duplicate …. 

It does seem to happen with some regularity, so a simple “button “ would work?

If “simple “ it be technically to implement with a Website as complex as this evolved over literal decades!

So much for the little I can say ! Don’t think have done anything since my first daughter was born nearly 3 decades back, and dropped out of what had already become by then a peripheral IT involvement for some years.

HTML1 and raw text/code in those days! Some early implementations of programming aids could be a bit … erratic. And with phone modem data speeds, smaller the profoundly better!

As always, respect to the writer and developers and maintainers for what might be one of the best community sites anywhere!
