It is also NOT TRUE than David Beckham will be in the Men’s Pilates class at the community centre on wed at 7pm. So if anyone wants to come along for a free class you WONT be next to him (or his son,  Brooklyn if he can get off work on time).

Hmmmm .... Definitely a whiff of smouldering here.  Without wishing to appear even more overly pedantic, if - as you aver - you have not even been approached, who then gave the "no comment" instruction?   Eh?

I have been told to say "no comment", but just to to be clear NO OFFER HAS BEEN MADE OR DISCUSSED. I have not even been approached.

Without wishing to appear overly pedantic, how come the offer appeared meagre if, as you aver, none was made?  This is beginning to look just a tad like a smoke-and-fire situation .....

I just wanted to quell the rumours about me being asked to appear in this new TV venture. I can categorically say that I have not been approached to star in any such show, and that no (rather meagre I thought) financial offer has been made.

I hope that you will respect my, and my family's, privacy over the coming months.
