Use the link posted by Hans - but do it today and you’ll need to send priority. It took over a week to get my ballot and if you have any experience at all with Canada Post, you’ll know 2 weeks is not unusual if posted by regular mail service. I hadn’t voted in a Canadian election for over 20 years, preferring to focus on and vote in elections here, where I live and work and pay taxes, but this is a Big One. Good luck.

Somewhat connected to this thread, we went to the Canadian students' wonderful performance of Twelfth Night at the Methodist Church yesterday - we were so impressed by their dramatic skills, energy, musicality, - and humour ! Many congratulations to the students, their directors and all involved.

Yes, many of us remember seeing Mark Carney at the Wilderness Festival, and probably also remember his glittery silver face-paint. Not exactly forgettable. Picture here: https://bsky.app/profile/youngvulgarian.marieleconte.com/post/3ljy5vrlevc2r

As Mark Carney was staying with his sister-in-law,  Lady Tania Rotherwick, in one of the grandest rooms in Cornbury House, I'm not sure he ever took part in the long-table banquets. But others will doubtless tell me that I am wrong about that ...

I saw Mark walking around Cornbury at the Wilderness festival a few years ago.

Canada has fptp voting just like here, and from what I understand the liberals can win even if they have 3-4% less votes nationally than the conservatives.

Looks like a walkover to me.

Mark Carney is not Charlbury's main connection with Canada, excellent though he is.

Over more than twenty years Charlbury has been the home of an academic programme for students from first one, then two, now three Canadian universities. A group has come for the Spring semester and stayed in the homes of kindly host families and studied in Oxford under the wing of Regent's Park. They have discovered the delights of the Bodleian Library, the RSC, London etc. but most of all Charlbury ! In our turn, those of us fortunate enough to be involved, organising, teaching and mostly the host families have felt enriched by friendship with these great young people. Hands off, the man we must not mention !

Carney, of course, is about to be another honorary Charlburian Prime Minister. Though perhaps a wee bit more popular in Charlbury than the last one?

How many of us have (literally) bumped into him on a Cornbury dance-floor, or sat at a Cornbury Long Table with him?

Delighted this has been aired. And Mark Carney will make a superb Prime Minister. And he will also stand up to Trump's bullying ... as opposed to the conservative, who would just surrender Canada to Trump.

And hurry up! There is not a lot of time left, the Canadian postal system is apparently on  and off snafu.

AREA! Not ‘are’! Bloody spellcheck keeps on constantly changing words I KNOW I’ve typed correctly!

How does one edit the Title to correct such “imposed “ errors? Not just the body text?

Thanks

The long desired USA Imperialist Conquest of Canada has taken a turn to being in the “realm of possibility “.

Canadians, Dual Citizens, visitors here in Britain over the Election period and any other category that could claim an overseas vote for the APRIL 28th General Election.

It is hard to think of any other- and one way or another- a MORE IMPORTANT Election in …. Well the prior century.

If someone could help with a bit of coordination to find out how to get the vote from abroad and/or assist with advice or practical assistance, it would be very useful.

Injuries and occupational health-deleterious conditions really prevent my doing much of practical use, alas.

And have no doubt. It’s quite feasible in the era of biocidal insanity that the “COUP DE CALUMNY “ of the Trump regime, and its successors if you question whether another un-gerrymandering election could occur- such a regime may not hesitate to destroy the Canadian economy and Impoverish the Canadian People into submission. Blockade basically….This has been mentioned before in various writings over centuries.
