What I meant to add is that there’s a ‘Road ahead closed’ sign as you approach the’dip’ coming from the Witney end of town but The Slade was open.

Why is there a road closed sign at the entrance to Hixet Wood from the 5 Ways junction?

All the more reason that we need those TWELVE parking spaces at a well-known (?) local hostelry frequented at least once by Boris Johnson  😜 ... even though it seems that some local politicians (?) who should know better are trying to reduce it to ... goodness knows what.

Twelve weeks of gas pipe replacement has started today. There’ll be a rolling program of closures. Parking severely limited. Currently there is no right turn from Fishers Lane.
