It was fantastic - thanks so much to everyone who organised it, and Anne and Catriona for their inspirational speaking. It restored my faith in humanity.

Well if you missed this, you missed something very special: 120 plus people, aged 3 to 83, all with a passion for the natural world and its place in Charlbury for future generations. From 2-5pm this afternoon the air in The Memorial Hall crackled with enthusiasm and energy as like minded people discovered each other, shared knowledge, experience and proposals, all fuelled by home made cakes (well this is Charlbury!) and  brilliantly recorded in ‘Visual Minutes.’ For me It was Charlbury at its very best. 
Congratulations to the Land and Nature Group for a very successful start to the Year of Nature Recovery in Charlbury - the launch of many projects and much promise. And they would welcome anyone who would like to join them in any capacity.

Everyone is welcome to this event, it's for all age groups. 

A great chance to talk about ways we can all play a part in restoring nature in our community.  The plummeting of biodiversity affects us here in Charlbury as else where and is of as big a concern as climate change. 

Catriona Bass will kick of proceedings by sharing some  of what the Nature Recovery Network has been doing in Eynsham.
