Wed 15 Mar, 15:17 Just an update: we've now got two sewing machines, some fabric and some hand tools to take to Work Aid, but there's still plenty of space in the back of the car. We'll take anything that they can use - just have a look at the Work Aid website and give that shed/workshop/garage/den the once-over to find all those tools and things that you really don't need any more. |

Sun 12 Mar, 17:38 We will shortly be taking our elderly hand-cranked sewing machine down to Work Aid in Chesham, so that it can be sent off to be used by someone in Africa. It seems a bit unenvironmental to do the journey for just one item, so if anyone has unwanted tools and other stuff like that, let us know and we can add it to the load. There's a list of what Work Aid wants - and more specifically what they don't want - at https://workaid.org/donate-tools If you've got something that will be useful, give Simon or Rhona a call on 811414 or send us a message. |
