Sat 22 Mar: Bumblebee identification workshop and setting up of new transect at Southill Solar Farm

Are you interested in bees? Want to know more about which ones are bumblebees and how many different ones there are around us here in Charlbury? Curious about which ones you might see at different times of year?
As part of Charlbury's Nature Recovery launch year, Southill Solar and Charlbury Wildlife Society are offering a free Saturday morning workshop from the Bumblebee Conservation Trust followed by a visit to Southill to walk the newly established transect there and practice your newly-acquired identification skills.
Starts at 9.30am at the Friends Meeting House, with talks and workshop until 12.30pm, followed by lunch and then afternoon field skills workshop 13.00 onwards.
