'Why are you doing this?' is a series of talks for Lent arranged by Churches Together in Charlbury. In these talks we shall hear from some of our neighbours dedicated, in different ways, to making the world a better place.
Talks are being held in the Friends Meeting House, Market Street, on Monday evenings at 7.30pm between 26 February and 18 March.
On Monday 11 February Steve Page and Andy Faulkner will talk about their experience of living and working with people in rural Bangladesh through the Christian organisation 'Life for Bangladesh'. The emphasis is on practical support and education including helping build facilities for village schools.
Everyone is welcome. There is no charge but donations will be gratefully accepted and given to charities nominated by the speakers.
