Sat 2 Jul 2022: Glyme Valley SSSI Guided Walk

This event is in the past.

The Charlbury Garden Society is delighted to welcome back Craig Blackwell (County Ecologist with Oxfordshire County Council between 1990 and 2009) to host a guided circular nature walk through the Glyme Valley SSSI on Saturday 2nd July at 2pm. His talk on Wildflowers of the Cotswolds back in March was hugely enjoyable and we are very fortunate to be able to benefit from his expertise again.

The circular walk will be around 2 hours covering 3-4 miles, stopping to notice the wildflowers along the way. The route goes through Glyme Farm and its species-rich limestone grassland, along green lanes and ending up in Over Norton Park before returning to Chipping Norton.

We will depart promptly from the Chipping Norton Leisure Centre car park at 2pm.
