Daphne Clark will play a series of mazurkas by Chopin, Borodin, Dvořák and Scriabin. These Polish folk dances in triple meter originated in the plains of Mazovia around Warsaw. These will be followed by some sunny summer outdoor music by Edvard Grieg.
