What’s on

Fri 7 May-Sat 8 May 2021: CRAG Pop-up Bookshop

This event is in the past.

This Friday and Saturday, to coincide with Artweeks, there will be a fantastic range of donated books on offer at the Friends Meeting House, Market Street, Charlbury. There will be over 2,000 books to choose from, including some amazing illustrated non-fiction, children’s and Young Adult books. Many of the books are second-hand but in very good condition, a few are brand new, and all are on offer at bargain prices.

We really hope you will pop in and browse. We’re are only able to take cash (or cheque) payments and we’ll have Covid-safe measures in place, so please don’t forget to bring your facemask.

If you can’t make it to the pop-up bookshop, you can still browse our catalogue of over 4,500 donated titles, most of which are priced at 50p or £1. Books can be collected from central Charlbury by arrangement in a Covid-secure way. By buying your books from a CRAG bookshop, not only will you be helping to support refugees (all proceeds go directly to CRAG), you will also be recycling books and shopping locally!
