The recital will include:

Fantasy in D minor KV 397 MozartAndante-Adagio-AllegrettoPrelude Chorale and Fugue Cesar FranckNocturne in C sharp minor op post. ChopinLibertango PiazzollaMaureen began her musical training in Dublin, her home town, where she received piano lessons from the age of ten with Caitlin O'Broin and later with Dr Mabel Swainson. In 1971 she became the Edith Best scholar at the Royal College of Music, London where she studied with Kendal Taylor. After graduation Maureen continued her training with private lessons from Valdo Perlemuteur, Louis Kentner and most recently with William Howard.Maureen has been living in Oxford for the last thirty years and has been a member of the music staff at Oxford High School for the past twenty five years. In her spare time Maureen enjoys playing with her four grandchildren, reading, fitness training, and vegetarian cookery. She is also enjoying the rediscovery of the piano.

Concerts are given in the Memorial Hall and begin at 3pm. Admission is first come, first seated, so we recommend you arrive soon after the doors open at 2.30.

Complimentary tea and cakes are served after the concert.

All proceeds go to refugee and asylum seeker relief.
