A chance to spend more time at your Museum, opening not only from 10.30 am to 12.30 pm, but also from 2.30 to 4.30 pm to Saturday 8th June, and from 2.30 to 4.30 pm on Sunday 9th June. Run entirely by volunteers, the Museum celebrates its 70th anniversary in 2019, with glimpses into the working and family lives of the townspeople over the centuries, from football to farming, gardening to gloving, shopping to schooling.
Do you remember the levelling of Nine Acres? The photograph shows the kick-off for the first match on the new pitch in 1953.
