Starting at the Spendlove Car Park Charlbury
3 hr walk - 7 miles
Please join us for this pleasant 7 mile walk should last about 3 hours. Lots of great views. We leave Charlbury and go past St Mary’s Church (Church 1) then along the Evenlode Valley to the small All Saints Church Shorthampton (Church 2) go back down across the Evenlode river and railway to Spelsbury All Saints Church – quite a contrast (Church 3) then back to Charlbury through Wigwell Nature Reserve. The route can but fairly muddy so waterproof walking boots and clothing are advisable.
