Thu 3 Jun 2027: Charlbury Society Talk with Neil Wilson
Bellringing and Charlbury's Bells
Charlbury's bells are a familiar sound, ringing out on Wednesday evenings, Sunday mornings and for special occasions such as weddings or Royal anniversaries.
In this talk Neil will discuss both the history and craft of 'full circle' English change ringing and what sets it apart from other forms of ringing and the importance of ringing in Charlbury.
Please join us in the Memorial Hall for refreshments from 7.15pm. The talk will begin at 7.30pm and is free for members, £3 for guests.
