Sat 19 Sep: Youth Corner - Street Fair
This Saturday, Charlbury's young people are on the mic at the Youth Corner Stage.
From 2:30PM-4:00PM at the newly branded Corner House Garden Café — part of Charlbury Street Fair — they'll be talking about what's actually urgent to them: AI, deepfakes, misinformation, and the future they're growing up into.
Stick around after, youth bands take the Main Stage at 4:00pm.
The Youth Corner Stage is also where we're announcing what's coming next for youth in Charlbury: Charlbury Youth Corner launches Tuesday 13 October, 5–7pm, in the Morris Room. A free after-school drop-in — study, see friends, or just sit somewhere warm and welcoming — supervised by qualified youth workers, with snacks and drinks donated by local businesses. Then straight into OXIE's Critical Minds: Intro to Philosophy, 7:30–9pm — a certified critical thinking course for ages 15+, with leadership and career pathways.
