Sat 29 Aug: Charlbury Saturday Market
It's Bank Holiday weekend and a fifth Saturday of the month so we have some extra stalls this week.
Styan Family Produce have their usual range of fresh seasonal produce for your weekend meals.
There's new potatoes, onions, carrots, peas, beetroot & courgettes. Rosette, Discovery & cooking apples, damsons & Victoria plums. Eggs, juices & honey complete the offering.
The Market Bread Stall will be there too, with their choice of Gatineau bread; sourdough, mixed grain & baguette. There's sweet pastries & savoury quiche too. Run by volunteers, all profits go to local groups & projects.
Cotswold Wildflowers will have their choice of Dahlia bouquets from their brilliant range of varieties.
Padstow Fish will be with us again with their wide range of white, smoked & shellfish fresh from the sea.
See the post from The Kitchen Garden People on this site as they will be with us for the next two weekends, with vegetable & flower plants.
Sadly, Wheymore Cheese & Primal meats can't be with us, but they'll be here on the 5th September, as will Padstow Fish, Styan & the bread stall.
The market is an initiative of Charlbury Town Council & Charlbury Community Centre.
We hope to see you there.
