Fri 28 Aug: Walkers Are Welcome – Pub Walk to Stonesfield
Fancy combining a lovely countryside walk with a trip to the pub? Our extra Walkers Are Welcome walk on Friday 28 August does just that!
We’ll leave Charlbury at 4.30pm and walk through the countryside to The White Horse in Stonesfield, aiming to arrive at around 6pm – just in time for a well-earned drink.
The first bus back to Charlbury leaves at 6.56pm, with buses running hourly after that.
If you fancy making an evening of it, The White Horse serves fish and chips on Fridays. Please book directly with the pub if you would like to stay for dinner, then simply catch a later bus back to Charlbury.
🥾 A good level of fitness is required
💧 Bring water and wear suitable walking footwear
🕟 Leave Charlbury at 4.30pm
🍺 Arrive at The White Horse around 6pm
🚌 First bus back at 6.56pm, then hourly
No booking needed for the walk – just turn up! Everyone welcome.
