Thu 10 Sep-Sat 19 Sep: Essential gas works – Fawler Road, Woodstock Road and Stonesfield Lane
Essential gas works from 10 August
SGN will be carrying out essential gas main replacement works in Charlbury from 10 August, with the project expected to continue until approximately 12 October. The work is being undertaken to maintain a safe and reliable gas supply.
The first phase will involve a road closure on Fawler Road between Woodstock Road and Baywell Cottage for around five weeks, followed by temporary traffic lights on Woodstock Road from 24 August, and then works on Stonesfield Lane from 21 September. Access to properties within the road closure will be maintained where possible, although bus services may be affected.
