Thu 16 Jul: Walkers are Welcome walk: Kingham to Charlbury

Join us for our next Walkers Are Welcome Bus & Walk on Thursday 16th July

Please note that this walk has been rescheduled from Thursday 9 July to Thursday 16 June due to the availability of walk leaders.

Join us for our next Walkers Are Welcome Train & Walk, travelling by train to Kingham before enjoying a scenic walk back to Charlbury.

We'll meet at Charlbury Station at 9.45am to catch the 10.02am train from Platform 1 (over the bridge) to Kingham.

This 11.5-mile moderate walk follows the Oxfordshire Way and parts of the River Evenlode, passing through the picturesque villages of Shipton-under-Wychwood and Ascott-under-Wychwood before returning to Charlbury.

A good level of fitness is required for this longer walk.

There will be opportunities for lunch and drinks/snack stops along the way. Please bring your own packed lunch, snacks and plenty of water to keep yourself hydrated.

Meeting point: Charlbury Station (Platform 1 – over the bridge)

Meet: 9.45am for the 10.02am train to Kingham

Distance: 11.5 miles

Difficulty: Moderate – good level of fitness required

No booking is necessary – just turn up! Everyone is welcome
