Sat 12 Sep: Come and Sing Elgar's Dream of Gerontius

Burford Singers invite you to spend a wonderful day immersed in one of the greatest works in the choral repertoire, Edward Elgar’s The Dream of Gerontius, led by our inspirational conductor, Will Dawes. Whether you are an experienced singer or completely new to large-scale choral music, you are warmly welcomed to take part. No advance preparation is expected. There will be rehearsal sessions during the day, with breaks for refreshment and lunch. Three professional soloists will join us for a reduced performance at the end of the day.

• Ticket Price: £20, Under 18s and audience free of charge

• Hire of score £2

• Choral Scores: We will be using the Novello edition. Please bring your own if you have one.

• Refreshments: Complimentary tea and coffee will be available during the morning and afternoon breaks.

• Packed Lunch: Please bring your own lunch for the midday break.

• Cakes & Music Sale: Enjoy refreshments during the day and browse our cake and music sale, helping to support the event.
