What’s on

Sat 6 Jun: Charlbury Saturday Market

Its the first Saturday of June so we have most of our regular stalls ready to serve you outside the Community Centre between 9am & Noon.

The Styan family fruit & vegetable stall is featuring this week bunched beetroot, broad beans, asparagus, a variety box of tomatoes and gooseberries.  There's also strawberries, spring greens, spinach beet, spring onions, radish, new potatoes, eggs & fruit.

Padstow Fish will also be offering a range of fresh & smoked fish, shellfish and other seasonal specialities.

Primal meats will be back again, & this quote from their website explains what they do....Our beef, lamb, mutton and hogget are organically reared and 100% grass fed. We use selected farms that are farming in harmony with nature to optimise animal welfare and regenerate their land without the use of fertilisers, pesticides and routine medical treatments.

The Charlbury Market Bread stall be selling their usual range of excellent Gatineau bakery sourdough, baguettes, mixed grain & ciabatta, plain & olive.  There's also sweet pastries & savoury tarts & quiches.

Sadly the Wheymore Cheese stall can't be at the market this week but they will be at the Farmers Market next Saturday on the Playing Close.  They've promised to be with us at the start of July

The Saturday Market is a joint initiative between Charlbury Town Council & Charlbury Community Centre.

We hope to see you there.
