Sat 2 May: To Beltane
We bring you a show! 'To Beltane' is part ode to this extraordinary time in the Wheel of the Year with its underlying energy of growth and union - our Celtic forebears celebrated four fire festivals in the 'quarters' of the year in between Solstices and Equinoxes - Beltane being the moment at the start of May between the Spring Equinox and the Summer Soltice. Our show is also an honouring of where we have travelled from in the seasonal calendar to get here. There will be lots of original music from talented and versatile musicians - Laveroc and also readings, poems and historic bits from the delightful Oxford based poet and wordsmith - Joe Butler - who is currently working at Bridewell Organic Gardens.
