Thu 12 Mar: Walkers Are Welcome - Bus Walk
Our next Bus & Train Walk heads to Chadlington for a varied and interesting countryside route back to Charlbury.
On 12th March, we’ll meet at 10:30am at the bus stop by The Bell on Church Street, catching the 10:38am X9 bus to Chadlington.
From there, this 4-mile walk takes in the hamlet of Dean, a wooded valley towards Spelsbury, historic Coldron Mill (a site dating back over 1,000 years), Dean Common and ancient woodland at Dean Grove. We’ll enjoy views across the Evenlode Valley towards Wychwood Forest before returning via Mill Field island (flood conditions permitting) and finishing back at The Bell through St Mary’s churchyard.

🟢 Difficulty: Moderate (no significant climbs)
🟢 Expect mud – sturdy footwear essential
No booking needed – just turn up. New walkers always very welcome.
