Thu 26 Feb: Charlbury Nature Recovery Network Growth Team - initial meeting
Anyone who would like to be involved in the next steps project for our nature recovery activities is invited to an initial meeting at 2pm on Thursday 26th February, at the Friends Meeting House in Market Street where we will be planning our activities for the first few months of 2026, including planting up seeds of several of the native wildflowers of particular interest and value locally, to plant into verges and other public (or private) areas.
We have agreed with the Quakers that we can keep some of our initial plants in part of their garden there, but we will also be encouraging people to care for some of the pots at home, to maximise the chances of germination and survival.
We would love to have people’s ideas about what seeds to collect and grow, what composts to be using, as well as how often to meet, so please do join us and have your say in what you want to achieve and how we can develop as a team. If you can't join us this time, then please send a message to the Town Clerk, Lisa Wilkinson to forward to us, to suggest the best days and times for future meetings.
